PROJECT PROGRESS
June 2009 - still proceeding with working through all dogs,
checking info on all available sources, to date we are up to the letter 'E' time
taken so far - 4 years
DOGS
NAMES
As much as possible we have used full names von, vom, van, von
der, von de, van der, van het etc etc rather than v, v d, v h etc etc you will
find VDOM dogs entered under van de Oranje Manege
If you don't find the name you require after a search where you expect it to be
take a look with or without an S or apostrophe.
We try not to use abbreviated names as if used it is impossible to search for a
particular kennel...for example- Summerwind - is abbreviated in many different
ways, to aid searches the full name in used for the dog and the
abbreviated name is entered in the field 'alternative name'
We have not used umlats. Please refrain from using punctuation as much as
possible to allow search facilities to give the correct informatiom
There will be errors, however hard we try to avoid them but if you find any, and
let us know we will correct them as soon as possible
DATE FORMAT
Please use the database date format for all dates eg Date of Birth (YYYY/MM/DD)

PHOTOGRAPHS
Please share photos of your dogs to make this a pictorial as well
as a word history of our breed.
We can also collect photos from your websites, so if you have a photo of your
dog as an adult - especially if they are no longer with you, please let us know
the exact URL of your website page and we will endeavour to collect them and
add them to this database. If you have any problems uploading photos please send photos in
to us in .jpg format at
between 30 - 50 Kb per picture, photos preferably as an adult and in a show
pose. Please feel free to send us updated photos anytime.
Please ensure that you have the prior permission of the photographer. If you upload or send us a photo we will automatically assume you have the necessary permissions and will accept no responsibility for this other than removing photos at next update if there is any dispute.
Only one photo per pedigree but you will find some other shots of the dogs in our photo albums which are sorted by country then alphabetically AHI Photo Albums If anyone would like an album for their dogs please ask, there is no charge for these and you can administer them yourself.
UK DOGS
Where you find the BRS number on a record this denotes that the details have been checked with the Kennel Club Breed Record Supplement
If you do not find the dog you are looking for please feel free to contact us as we have many pedigrees, stud books etc that we have not yet had time to enter
